![]() ![]() We have a great introduction to the brigadier and his main conflict, that of his grief of his wife's death, the Doctor's loss of his tardis and compassion upcoming change, all being reflected in a way in Avalon. It's really slow to start honestly and it take a long time to find its footing, it feels longer than 270 something pages it is, and that put me off a bit to begin with. ![]() ![]() Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this books as I've heard a lot of mixed feelings about it, and very few positive feedbacks, so coming in I was a bit wary, and joy, did in it expect what was coming. I don't usually write reviews but I've been meaning to start, so I'll try for this one! ![]()
